How to Embed an NPS Question in Your Questionnaire Email Template (HTML)
Our platform allows you to customize the HTML of the emails you send to collect customer feedback, giving you full control over their design and functionality. One of the most powerful ways to use this feature is by embedding an NPS (Net Promoter Score) question directly in the email body.
This approach makes it easy for your recipients to provide feedback quickly; clicking a score button in the email will immediately redirect them to the full questionnaire experience via our web survey, with the selected NPS score already captured.
🧩 What You Can Do
Using the HTML editor in your email queues settings, you can:
Insert the NPS question inside the body of the email (HTML)
Customize the color of the score buttons (0 to 10) to better match your needs.
Choose which score selections will redirect respondents to the full questionnaire — giving you full control over the experience.
🛠️ How It Works
Each score in the NPS scale (0–10) is represented by a clickable button (a styled <a> tag).
When a recipient clicks a score, they are redirected to the full questionnaire experience via our web survey.
The score is passed as a URL parameter (e.g., ?nps_score=7) and can be captured and stored automatically.
The above screenshot shows an example of how the new feature may look like within your email sent to the end customer. Each response will redirect to the entire questionnaire environment and the selected answer will be automatically selected within the survey.
