Custom Questions


The process of adding your own questions is really easy with ready-to-use template questionnaires of e-satisfaction. 


Every questionnaire template contains question groups where you can create/add your own questions. 


By clicking on Add New Question Button, you are asked to fill in the following fields. 


Step 1: Question title. 

The question title should reflect clearly what you want to learn from your customer and it is shown to the questionnaire. 

So, if you want to learn how , then the Question Title can be "How satisfied are you with our e-shop? ".


Step 2: Question Display Name (for internal use) 

It helps you to identify what metric you watch with this question. For our example. the question display name could be " customer satisfaction or CSAT ". 


Step 3: Question Type

After completing the Question Title and the Question Display Name, you can select between four(4) question types. 

  • Rating
  • Open Text
  • Single Selection Radio 
  • Multiple Selection




  • Rating

A rating question asks from respondents to evaluate on a scale from one (1) to ten (10) the referred statement.  

To create a Rating Question, you choose Rating from the drop down list and then complete the necessary fields.

It is mandatory to set at least two (2) values when you use a rating type questions. 

Value Title: When you use the rating type question you should define the two ranges.

For example, if you want to ask with a rating type question how satisfied your customers are, then:

One value title (reflects the left range of question) could be "not at all satisfied" and the value: 1 and the other value title: extremely satisfied, with value: 2. 

In this way, the question displays the a scale of answer options from a range 1-10. 

  • Open text

A question with an open space where your visitors and/ or customers can freely provide their feedback with a comment.


  • Single Selection (Radio)

The customer is asked to pick only one answer, from a pre-determined set of responses of at least two or more options.

Similarly to rating type questions when you select a single selection (radio) type question , you should set at least two (2) values.

Each value title is assigned to a value. 

The values should be 1, 2, 3... etc. 

If you want to add value, you just click add value and complete the value title and the value number. 

  • Multiple Selection

The customer is free to pick more than one answer, from a pre-determined set of responses of at least two or more options.


Do not forget to press SAVE every time you make a change. Otherwise, your changes would not be saved.
