Introduction

Questionnaires are the only way of getting data (responses) from your end-users during an important moment in their experience, both online and offline.

Apart from their structure, they contain also some functional settings that define their duration, validity and some other settings.

Questionnaire Settings

Clicking on the "Create New Questionnaire" button in your feedback page, you should see a dialog like the following:

Owner Application

You can choose to create questionnaires in different applications. You can simply choose the owner application.

Template

You can create completely custom questionnaires or based on a template provided by the platform. Feel free to use the drop-down list to select your template and work from there.

Display Name

This is the name that will appear on the e-satisfaction Dashboard to represent your questionnaire. You can add a friendly name that will be easily recognizable.

This name is only for you and not visible to the end-users.

For instance you have updated your website and you need your customers opinion. Therefore you create a custom questionnaire which will be distributed to your customers in order to evaluate the website browsing. The display name could be "New Website Evaluation".

Valid Days

You can define the number of days that the questionnaire will be active for completion after it's sent to the end-users. You can insert any value based on the following:

• 0: Set 0 to allow all users to complete the questionnaire whenever they want, without time limitations.
• N (any number) > 0: All questionnaire instances that you send have an expiration date of N days after their creation.
  
  • A user will not be able to open and submit the questionnaire after this period

Editable

You can define whether end-users can edit their responses after completing the questionnaire. This configuration works with valid days as follows:

Combining the editable and valid days configuration, you will have the following result:

Collapsed on Desktop

This option will allow the questionnaire to display only the first question (with the rest of the questionnaire collapsed) and show the rest of it when the first question is responded:

NOTE: Collapsed works only if the first question is anything other than Multiple Selection (checkbox)
